What is the Friendswood Mustang Booster Club?

Commonly known as FMBC, the Friendswood Mustang Booster Club is a Club that has been formed to support all athletes at Friendswood High School.  The purpose of FMBC is to support the athletes and coaches by attending athletic events, participating in fund-raisers, promoting school spirit, and collectively sharing in the responsibilities and results of the common concession stands. We also help educate members on UIL rules and what the funds raised through FMBC can and cannot be distributed for.  Funds raised by FMBC through the membership drive and concession stands are shared evenly among the 20 sports that it supports to be used for additional equipment, sport banquets, scholarships, and other needs.

FMBC awards 12-14 $500 scholarships annually to athletes at Friendswood High School.  The requirements are simply being a senior and participating in a sport.  The names are randomly drawn at the May meeting each year.

The FMBC has monthly meetings for all members at the Friendswood High School Library (typically they are on the third Wed. of the month) at 7:00 pm.  The Executive Board is selected at the May meeting each year and the sport representatives are selected with approval of the Coach at the May meeting also. To become a member of FMBC, anyone may join (whether your son or daughter plays a sport or not) and you may join at any time during the school year.  There are different levels of membership available.
